Facilities launch details

1st April saw Corserv launch a brand new facilities management company, Corserv Facilities, to provide a wide range of property related services to Cornwall and beyond.

Corserv Facilities was formed by combining the previous Facilities Management division of Cormac and the repairs and maintenance function from Cornwall Housing. It has a workforce of over 800 people and can deliver a wide range of services including property maintenance, construction, project delivery, cleaning facilities management and more.

“We have ambitions to grow the business,” says Managing Director for Corserv Facilities Al Hoare.  “Working in schools, multi academy trusts, other local authorities as well as the important private commercial business sector, our purpose is to create a specialist facilities company of scale. We have a talented team of professionals working collaboratively to ensure we deliver quality, value for money services for our customers.”

Corserv Facilities is the newest company to join the established Cornish companies under the Corserv Group along with Cormac, Cornwall Airport Newquay, Cornwall Housing and Corserv Care.

The Corserv Group is the umbrella company which is wholly-owned by Cornwall Council and is one of the biggest employers in Cornwall with 2,600 people employed. The Group provides infrastructure, engineering, housing, jobs, social care, facilities management, transport and other essential services to Cornwall and its communities. As part of the Corserv Group, Corserv Facilities will reinvest profits back into services that bring positive changes and benefit the whole community.

Our teams include carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, commercial and domestic mechanical engineers, kitchen engineers, cleaners, ground maintenance and security as well as a specialist team for larger refurbishment and construction projects”
